Welcome to the "Wain House", our farm tea room serving freshly prepared
food, snacks and cakes. The ''Wain House'' is a listed building dating back
to the 16th century, retaining many of its original features.

The building would have been used to store the haywain or haycart, hence
its name, which coincidentally corresponds with the origins in the name of the
current owner of St.Leonards Farm, 'Farmer James Wainhouse'! The building
has also been used as a filming location for Emmerdale Farm.

OPEN DAILY 11AM TO 4PM (HIGH SEASON)
11AM TO 3PM (LOW SEASON)

We have a heated indoor picnic room available for visitors during
the February and October Half Term Holidays

We respectfully ask that visitors consume their own food only in the
covered and open picnic areas provided for your convenience around the
site and not in the tea room or patio area. Please ensure you have a table
before ordering hot food. Thank you
